I was a mortgage broker for most of my career. Having moved to Italy & being mortgage free plus the low cost of living out here I just do 3 mornings a week now. Paradise? I'd say so.

I've enjoyed two careers. I started out with a hi-fi dealership during the boom years of the 70's and 80's and at the same time I moonlighted as a sound engineer for both studio and live touring.
When the costs of keeping my daughters in their horse riding passion began to exceed my ability to generate income, I started a distribution company for computer WAN & LAN networking products as this was becoming a fast growing industry. This kept up with daughters wedding costs etc. etc. and the needs of more and more grandchildren until dodgy knees and damaged femoral nerve encouraged me to retire seven years ago. I'm now a full time grand-dad/baby-sitter to 14 grandchildren and two Great Danes

I've never been able to suss out why nos 8 & 44 have haloes.
They look nothing like the Archbishop of Canterbury or Pope...
