Does anyone here have any experience of the Teac UD-H01?
I'm thinking of buying one to give me a headphone option for the 500 / 568 but not sure if to buy one of these at �150 or just buy an old Sony MD player and use the DAC on that.
Any views?

Just an update - Richer sounds had one for sale at �149 (vs �349 RRP) so seems a no-brainer. I'll let you know how I get on with it.

It looked like a nice pre-amp; then I saw that the volume on the front only controls the headphone output.
Still a bargain at �149!

�139! Richer Sounds put a �10 off voucher in the Metro this morning.  I've bought it only as a headphone amp, so it does the job well - I just need to listen to some CDs now. I've only heard one CD yet and it worked with the HD598s really well.
