I had to reset my 561 today (to a 3.0 DD system from a 5.0 DDA system).
All the present and sources have gone back to default factory settings.
I only have 3 sources and want to delete the other unused 9 sources so I don't have to cycle through them when not using the remote.
How do I do this (delete sources) without using a PC?
Many thanks
Andrew
PS - I don't have access to windows or a PC and so can't run MConfig or any Meridian software. I also don't have access to Windows via bootcamp, parallels or other software.

You will need a manual. It could be similar to the 565 in process but I don't know for sure. If it is, it is straight forward. I don't think you can delete physical sources. Good luck, Chris

Bluesound Pulse 2, Mini & Flex. 596v1, 518, Foxsat HD, Sony BDP, Pioneer 5090, 2 Chromecast's for LRB videos. MS200 to F80 for a Roon zone

I couldn't see a process in the manual. I suspect it can't be done. So I thought I'd check with the gurus.

You could try switching it off and on at the back whilst holding the display button.
If Config is displayed you can change the names of the inputs to suit, selecting None will turn that input off.
If this doesn't work, you'll have to get a PC to set it up.
Good luck,
Steve.

Didn't work for me. Thanks for thinking of it.
