I wish Meridian would support, individual volume settings per source on G68.

I wonder whether a UT2 might achieve this using a loop back from an HD621? When a source is selected the UT2 is programmed to feedback the starting volume for that source. Would depend whether an input via M comms is fed out from the RS232 output.
I use one to switch sources on my DVP2351 from my 568 as it has no Meridian comms functionality.
Not very elegant, I would accept.

This can be acheived using a control system that supports RS-232 control. When you switch sources the volume can be set to a preset level such as 65 for DVD, 50 for tuner, etc. Trimming source volume levels might be more of what you had in mind but that can be a moving target. However it can be done outside the box using attenuators on the analog side. I haven't run accross and digital attenuators though.
