In June I had my 800 player fixed by Marc Koval with a new transport and linear power upgrade. As of yesterday everything was fine and I have been extremely impressed with the sonic improvement.
When I insert a DVD audio or DTS disc the player tries to read it and then states "NO DISC" These are discs that a few days ago were playing without issues. Normal CD's are read and play normally.
Can anyone help please diagnose this problem?
Thanks
Alan

I'd have thought Marc would be your first port of call?
Cheers

I just thought that it might be an easy do it yourself fix.

Sounds like the dreaded drive failure.
