I'm not sure how I've managed to lose or erase the zone address for my 861v6 ID40 card, but I've done so today. The ControlMac program now plays music on my Mac and shows the Mac as the only Sooloos zone. My question (for anyone) is: there a generic zone address for ID40's and, if so, would someone send that to me?
I assume I can reestablish the connection by typing the correct address in the zone slot in "settings." The dealer who sold me the system originally set it up (and is closed until Monday). Thanks anyone, Bruce

Try rebooting the device with the ID40.
Edit Do you have an 861? Your sig doesn't list it. Unless I am mistaken, the 861 is the only device that uses an ID40 card.

Hi BruceN,
Similar issue found with my MS600
I had a "missing" Sooloos End Point issue with my MS600.
No idea why but ControlPC only saw the Local Zone - similar to your observations.
What I did to fix my issue
I checked with the Sooloos Configuration (which searches the network for all Sooloos devices) and the only one it could see was my ControlPC. I powered off my MS600 using the power button on the front of the unit. Waited for about 30 seconds. Pulled the mains out of the unit. Waited for 30 seconds. Then plugged it back in and powered back on.
The configuration program then recognised the MS600 and ControPC worked again as it should.

Thanks Marcus! It worked. My only guess is that perhaps the 861/ID40 endpoint "disappeared" during a storm yesterday. Our lights and power flickered but stayed on during high winds. Thanks again to you for the fix and for this forum as a resource. Bruce

The first thing to do when Sooloos pieces disappear from the network is reboot the entire system.

Hi all Doesn't the 808.3 also have an ID40 card as standard? If not I am worried. Hector
