Over the years I've spent more on cars than HiFi, doh! Some interesting cars I had: Avenger Tiger Sunbeam Lotus (works rally car spec) Lotus Esprit Peugeot 205 GTI 1.9 (Cosworth prepared engine & full Tarmac spec adjustable suspension) Porsche 944 Turbo Subaru Impresa Turbo STI Currently driving a company car - an Audi A3 2.0 Black Edition - it's ok for what it is but it doesn't make the hairs stand up on the back of ones neck

Try a 1996 fiesta 1.4 with 136,000 miles on the clock. Plenty to be uninspired about there but I have had 10 years of motoring without much drama all for �2400 GBP and I am looking for one more year yet. I fix cars for a living which ruins what otherwise could be a great hobby. The upside is I don't lose money on cars which brings me to Meridian. Thoughts, Chris

There's nothing wrong with the Ford Fiesta - I started with a Popular and ended up with an XR2, and yes I had fun in that but it's not printable CheeRS
