I have 3 M33's for my surround setup - 2 rear, one center.

What are other users using for rear stands and center plinth? The M33's are heavy, and living in San Francisco with a brand new epoxy floor, I am concerned about stability.

Thanks for reading.

I just posted a reply in your wanted advert re 33 centre plinth.

Basically, if you are after something functional rather than the official plinth, then the unit can be propped - "black tak" would be ideal, or simply stick on rubber feet (or more up market ones) as supplied with the original units.

I am using SoundGear metal stands (designed to be filled with lead or sand, but I've done neither) for my M33's front Left & Right. The M33's are oriented vertically on the flat metal stand with sufficient BluTak to level them. They've been in place 5 years and have never had a problem with them falling despite a 3 year old grandson, numerous nieces/nephews and inebriated friends. However, they have not been through a 'quake and I suspect that could very well change things. You could try the Blu Tak at the speaker stand/floor interface. Once it sets, it is quite rugged and considerable force is needed to break the bond.
