I only rip using the Control:10, and I've been delighetd to find that it is completely untroubled by any copy control system on the 3000+ CDs I've stored that way - I don't know how or why, as I know from pre-Sooloos days that a bunch of them won't play on a PC, and a few won't even play in a conventional CD player (especially my uber-fussy Cyrus!) but I'm quite impressed that the Sooloos just gets on with it.

As an aside, I do have just one CD that the system won't do anything with but spit back out - it's Cerys Matthews album from a few years ago. I don't think it's on grounds of taste - it's not as bad as James Taylor - but has anybody else experienced similar?

C10, Source One (broken), 1x TwinStore (2x4TB), various DACs, Musical Fidelity A5 pre/power amps into B&W speakers. F80 in bright shiny red.

Do you have the accurate rip box ticked? This may help with the copy controlled discs but takes a lot longer. I haven't tried it yet as a test.
I have it unticked for my clean CD,s but will use it for any suspect ones. I am leaving all those till last.
Thoughts, Chris smile

Chris
You should leave AccurateRip ticked on All your CD's........it really doesnt take much longer......and is a much more secure way of Ripping CD's........as some CD Damage may not be visible to the eye.........on new discs or old

Remember that the target is to Rip Once.......and that Rip will then be used for many years down the road, even after the equipment you Store and Play it on will change

Worth the extra 1 minute per CD IMHO
