Postman just delivered a Sooloos promo card for the free iPad deal.
Is a life-size mock up of an iPad with Core Control on one side.

Prior to iPad3 launch, the deal as described to me was �399 ( ie base iPad 16MB wifi) against an iPad that would be supplied by the dealer. If you wanted anything better then you had to foot the difference. If you wanted iPad3 then if that was launched and you be prepared to wait then OK. How much this has changed since launch i do not know.
I got the impression that a job lot of iPads had not been purchased by Meridian and it was up to the dealer to source.

and some dealers, ie.e. Russ Andrews (not where I'd normally look for a Sooloos purchase, admittedly) are offering the option of a 16Gb iPad 3 or a �399 discount upfront.

Interesting. My Dutch dealer was not aware of this action and would inform with the Dutch distributor. I also sent a PM to a UK dealer.
