Having mislaid the Meridian 609 remote inquiries of Meridian were unsuccessful. So I picked up a Harmony 650 to which I downloaded the configuration available for the D600 speakers. While waiting for a replacement S cable we have found that the basic functions operate the speakers well. Does anybody know if all the functions of the original remote are being made available by Logitech, please?

I use a Logitech Harmony 1100 remote to operate a Blu-ray PC, Samsung LCD, G61R, HD621, DSP800, DSP500, DSP500c, DSP subwoofer system. The remote can learn any command but I configured the system using the keys on the G61R front panel. I had previously used Crestron remotes but they are expensive to reprogram if you change equipment, unlike the Logitech, which works perfectly.

I use a Logitech Harmony 900 remote to control my system (see signature). It has all the functions of the 861, though some are soft buttons. All the frequently required buttons are pre-mapped to respective device functions, and are well situated.
I recommend Harmony for value and functionality.

I use Crestron AND Harmony 1100. The Crestron costs nothing to update, you just have to learn how to do it yourself And of course Harmony comes nowhere near the Crestron in terms of functionality. BUT it does what it does well and I enjoy mine. I'd previously used the Philips Pronto but they stopped making the model I liked so was forced to switch to the Harmony. The biggest issue with it is getting macros to function which isn't anywhere near as easy as it should be, but it can be done. The programming software could be improved in many ways, but it does allow you to do most of the things you need.

Works just fine. Make sure you select Meridian and type in G68 or whatever product you use and it will set it up for you.
