Hello,

I wonder if it is prudent to get rid of 5200 for M6. Can it be connected to G68J, which does not have CAT5 link. Has anybody listened to it yet?
Appreciate any comments.

Harry

Hi Harry,

A few people have now heard them and made comments.

Try the forum's 'Google Search' for "M6" to find the posts.

Regards,
Carl

Listen and let your ears make the decision. As for connectivity to the G68J, yes. You can buy the AC12 to connect the G68 to SpeakerLink speakers. You'll need 1 per pair of speakers.

Dargo, stick a pair of Revivers on those DSP5200 and you're set for SpeakerLink. They are priced affordably and makes for real neat cabling.

IMHO, the DSP5200's sound much better than the M6 Speaker

The M6 Speaker is designed for a purpose, as well as appealing to the "lifestyle" market.........but IMHO it lacks that distinctive Meridian signature......and the 5200's sound much better IMHO

As you already have the 5200's, I'd stay with them........find somewhere to take a listen yourself though

I think the M6 sound nice but not really 4500 worth of nice. You can get a lot of kit for that price, however, for the lifestyle room I think it is a different decision.

Nick
