Hi, I use an HTPC with J River MC17 that's with the last version so I can use a very powerfull room correction. This Lynx Studio Technology: AES16 sound card allow multi-digital output. So can I route digital PCM (24/96 upsampled by JRiver) to a 568.2mm processor? The only doubt is would seem that the outputs AES / EUB. Thanks, Andrea

Hi you would need some AES to SPDIF convertors.
There has been quite a few threads on this, the last one discussed using C03 converters. I suggest you do a Google Search for "AES to SPDIF".

ok, but can Meridian accept 24/96 signal from non-Meridian source?
Another question, using breakout cables, could the quality be affected?

ok, but can Meridian accept 24/96 signal from non-Meridian source? Yes. The unit will not know whether they are from DVD or Music though. This means that you'll have to manually tell it what to do with LFE. Another question, using breakout cables, could the quality be affected? Depends on the cable. Many people here use a VGA-3xRCA break out cable to go from their HD621 to their 568.2mm.
