I'm looking to buy a G68 and was wondering if all of them have Room correction? If not what should I look for to tell if the unit does or does not have Room correction.

Thank You

All G68 have MRC but of the G61 variant, only the G61R does, the G61 does not.

Thank You so much. I just talked to a dealer and he told me that only the newer versions of the G 68 had Room correction (maybe he wanted to sell me a new one). Can you also tell me if they come with a Mic. if not what should I seek and were does it plugg in? Again Thank You.

The processors aren't sold with mics although for the retail price they should be (and maybe a spare PSU). The Radioshack units are perfectly adequate and cost less than $50. If you have a choice get the analogue version. I bought a used on on eBay for about $20.
Of course if you're feeling flush there are more expensive options but they're not necessary.

Thanks Corrado Brit! Were does it plug in to? Any truth to the rumor of only newer G68's have room correction? I'm about to pull the trigger and buy one but wanna make sure I ask the right Questions first.

As Ian said ALL G68's have MRC. Depending on the room it can make a very nice improvement to the SQ. It did when I used it in my dedicated HT room.

Whilst you're waiting for the correct answer, on a G61 the SPL meter plugs into a specific RCA socket, A8 from memory. Should be easy to find out on a G68. It's a mike rather than spl meter?

AND all g68's have room correction notwithstanding how old they are?? just making double sure. cause I really wannna buy one tonight and don't want to make a dumb decision. I appreciate the help

Yes, all G68 models, right from their introduction in 2004.

SPL meter with RCA out is absolutely fine, a Mic can be used too (think there's info in the Wiki). Pretty sure it's input A8 on the G68 too, although I can't remember if it's the right or left channel.

Cheers

Using the output jack of the SPL meter is using it just as a mic.
