I use a 561M as a headphone amp. It suddenly stopped working yesterday. By a process of swapping lots of bits around I believe it is the main speaker outputs that are dead (analogue out main left and right). I haven't tested the centre, sub,or rear outputs properly but I think they are dead too. All the digital outs seem to be dead also.
Everything else seems to be fine, including the tape out / headphone circuits, and both the digital and analogue inputs.
For those of you knowledgeable about the modular construction of these units, does that seem feasible ? As in, it's quite possible for just an output to be dead and everything else work fine ?
And I'm guessing if so a trip back to the factory via my Nearest Premium Dealer is required ?
Thanks
Mark

I had the digital outs on my G68 stop working a few years ago. Never knew if it was limited to all outs or just digital. Anyway, trip to HQ was required (under warranty). A board was replaced IIRC.
