I can't figure out how to export Sooloos content, to iTunes or to Sonos.
In ControlPC under Export I can create export targets. I can set a checkbox to export all content, but I don't want to do that.
On the Control:10, under Export I can specify a tag to use to select content to export. And I can select which target to use.
But where do I say "DO IT!"?
It's embarrassing, I've worked in the software industry for 40 years. I even RTFMd. Can't figure it out.

Hello Anders,
try the following:
ControlPC > Export > set the target folder (iTunes import folder for example) > leave the checkbox unchecked.
Control:10 > Go to an album > Export > choose destination (the name you have choosen in the step above shoul appear).
2nd possibility if you want to export multiple albums: Control:10 > focus on the albums you want to export (tags for example) > go to the edit mode (Home symbol on the right upper corner) > click on export on the bottom.
3rd possibility ControlPC > choose an album > click on "Show details..." > Export Tab > choos the titles you want to export > wait, you do not have to click anything else, just mark the checkboxes.
Now you are able to see the titles beeing exported on ControlPC
Important: ControlPC has to be running.

I too am struggling with export to itunes today. The ControlPC manual downloaded from Meridian is not consistent with how our MC200 responds. We are able to force tracks to download using BVH's "third possibility" routine but we are getting multiple copies of some of the tracks in the itunes directory of our support PC. This anomaly aside, this download procedure is at best cumbersome and time consuming. Why isn't the system working as described in the documentation?

I believe the documentation is for an earlier version of the software. I also am having a very hard time exporting to iTunes with the current version of Control:PC. Usually I get many, many copies of certain tracks and cannot stop the process without shutting down the Sooloos processes via Task Manager. (Even then, they pick back up when I open iTunes again.) Very frustrating. It's been a while since I last did this, but I didn't have such problems then.
I don't know whether it's a bug in Control:PC, a problem arising from the latest version of iTunes, or some combination. Any insights welcome.

Yes, there is definitely an issue. At the moment it is not working and the documentation is incorrect.
Workarround: I am creating an export destination which aims on the automatic import folder of iTunes and then I choose recently imported albums at the Control:10 by focusing e.g. the tag 'iTunes' or 'MP3' and select all of them in the edit mode and clicking on export. Then I am sure all new albums are exported only once. Indeed very complex and frustrating...

I have been told this is a known issue and that they are working on it. Meanwhile, workaround is as in previous message, or simply export to a folder and then import from iTunes.
