Hi there I have had my 568.2 for about 5 mounth and still dont know how to set it up correctly!
DOes the xover hz setting make any diffference to analogue speakers (I have only a 2ch system) I now have it set to 50hz not 80hz.
Again does changing the listning position settings do anything for the speaker i.e 17' to 10'.
Also when I have the sine test on I ket a sharp rise in sound level(no spl) at about 125hz also moveing my round the room or even my head cause the sound to seem to come from very different position and again level increases...is this normal...is my room sh*t..what can I do about this.
Does anyboby know how to set the 568.2 up properly my dealer didnt even tell me about these things, dont think he knew about this stuff (he has since left).
Will any of this make much difference or better an improvement to my sound?
hope you all can help...thanks

The cross over is for telling the system where to send low frequencies. If you have a sub then anything below 50Hz goes to the sub. If you have no sub with full range fronts then if you set the crossover for the rears it will send low frequencies to the front.
Seperately there is a bass limiter for each speaker to protect the speaker and uses the calculator to determine it's limit.
The only effect distance would have is a delay. I'd just measure it and set it right.
Sounds like you have a node in the room. Very common. One reason subs are common is that you can move them to try to reduce problems like this.
Anyone please correct me if I'm off here.
