I certainly had "misplaced buttons" for some dialogue boxes prior to reinstalling the iPad app yesterday.
The particular one I remember is where you click on an artist, and are given the option to "Swim in this artist" or "Cancel" (can't remember if there is a third option).
From memory, that box had the cancel button sitting virtually on top of the swim option.
I haven't noticed this misalignment since reinstalling the app, but it may be that the euphoria of it no longer "searching for system core" every time I go into Sooloos, meant I wasn't paying proper attention...

That's exactly the problem I'm seeing even after uninstalling the app and reinstalling it from the iTunes store.
MC200, Twinstore, 808v6/ID41 -> DSP8000SE (+ SB Touch, Sony BDP-3300, SKYHD, legacy cassette player) 2nd system: MC200 analogue out, Linn LP12, SB3 -> Quad 34 -> M60 rosewood F80 (Rubino Micallizzato) F80 (Rosso Corsa)

I've just tried this, and my iPad app is still exhibiting this odd displaced menu, even after my re-install. Compared to the other issue I had, I can actually live with this one, but it is obviously some dodgy code, which hopefully M will have fixed by the next release.
By the way, does anyone else think it would be a good idea to have a couple of 'sticky' threads, one reporting genuine Sooloos bugs, and another to gather the many Sooloos wish list items together?
If we kept them at the top of the forum, M would have no excuse for not noticing them (when sneaking a quick peek at HH when Bob isn't looking), and whether they would admit it or not, I'm convinced they would find such threads a genuinely useful resource...

This is a very good idea!
I suggest to have the following structure:
1. Bug Number: 001 2. Bug name: 3. Where existing: Control:10/15, iPhone App, iPad App, Control:Mac, Control:PC, Browser Interface, Sooloos Config Software 4. Short description: 5. Steps to reproduce: ...>...>... 6. Solution: 7. Priority: High / Mid / Low
Meant is always the current Version.

Hi Neil, I think a Wiki page would be better, as threads often get very long, full of duplications and off topic. Do you fancy setting one up? Any member on here can contribute to wiki (it's not just the moderators) you just have to sign in to it. Regards, Carl

Hi Carl
Not sure I agree that a Wiki page would be better. After all, I was thinking that by making a thread sticky, the Sooloos developer bods really couldn't miss it when logging on to the forum (as we all know they do!).
If it was hidden away in a Wiki, I think they would be much less chance they would see it.
I do agree with the fact threads have a tendency to go OT however!
Anyway, I'm afraid I don't have any experience of setting up a Wiki page, so I will leave it to others to decide if they think the idea had merit, and if so, to run with it in whatever way they see fit.
I promise to contribute once it is up and running tho'!
Cheers
Neil

My first thought was the same as Carl's - this needs more structure than a forum provides. So how about combining the two: something like a locked sticky thread that contains a link to the wiki page?

Hi Duncan,
We could do that, we could even have a "hard" link to it a the top of page. However, I'd like someone other than a mod to take the plunge and setup a Wiki page. It's not that hard, like most things practice makes perfect and I'm sure it would evolve over time.
