Sorry guys my first post in the Restaurant so please correct me if I do anything wrong.
Meridian M80 999.00 while stocks last
Meridian Oxford, the UK boutique operated by Lewis Building Technology, is selling its stock of M80s at a heavily discounted price.
This is a limited availability offer due to the product being discontinued and a new model released in early 2012.
Contactus for more details or to arrange a demo. We cant imagine a better Christmas stocking filler!

I'd like to take this opportunity to applaud Meridian for going about the end-of-life of this product in the right way.
Although the communication is not direct from Meridian (which would be ideal), Meridian is saying essentially: "This product is EOL; we need to clear out our stock; here's an opportunity to buy one at a great price".
This (a) avoids generating customer anger when their full retail price purchase turns out to be out-of-date or end-of-line and (b) solves the problem of clearing out stock whilst potentially hooking new customers who know exactly what they are getting.
IMO, there is room for improvement - why is this not on the website? - but all-in-all, a much better approach. Please can we have more of this?

Hello - Justin here from Meridian Oxford. Thanks, we certainly intend to put more info out there and be clear about the offers we have. I totally agree the M80 offer is great as an EOL offer and better to be upfront. As the first Boutique in the UK we're finding our feet a bit with how to communicate with Meridian fans, but this forum is excellent so we will keep posting! Thanks, Justin. PS There are four of us here at Meridian Oxford Jason, Justin, Eric and Dan

Just though I'd say Hi as well!
I'm fairly new to Meridian but enjoying it very much, especially the 5200s, must keep saving!
Anyway, happy to help where I can and hopefully chat to you all some more soon!
Thanks,
Dan
