As title says, is it not possible to use MConfig with a 502? I installed the program but the 502 is not listed, infact no 500 series controllers are listed which I thought was a bit odd. Have I done the installation wrong or is there some other program that I need to use with a 502?

Thanks, Stuart

Stuart, there is no configuration program for the 502. What exactly were you looking to adjust/setup ?

Hi Stuart

All of the 500 series processors use the Legacy Programme, not Mconfig. That said, I'm not sure that any of the analogue controllers are listed there anyway, although I may be wrong! I suspect that they are front panel config only.

Cheers

Ah I see, I made the assumption that because it had an RS232 port on the back that it could be controlled through it. Oh well, no worries. thanks for the quick repsonses.
What is the RS232 port on the back for then?

I have a dim recollection that you can send remote control codes to the RS232 port. Not sure why you'd want to, though.

3rd party controlling solutions, Crestron for example.

Steve.
