Nic, yes I mean Home Entertainment World. They had a similar demo to last years, except they were not showing the Tensor series this time. The smaller demo with the Artist series was really nice: Adam Artist This is the rest of the Meridian "demo". Disappointing, as pointed out before: DSP7200 Some more pics here. I didn't take a pic of the 3200, but I think the C15 was silver.

Stephan,
sorry that I dit not call you. My old BMW car get broken -the generator dont work- so i spend my time to find that out and repair now the car. As I have to drive 3,5 hours in one direction, I couldnt rent a car from a firend- because that would be then at 6 oclock in the morning, and then you have still no car and one friend less...
Sorry,next time or better earlier.
Thanks for all the info.
Robert

Hi Steve,
You got the C15, AC200 and DSP3200 better then me. I focused more on my daughter
The C15 is the photo is white; it was custom made for AR like the black one as well.
Best Armin

Hi Stephan,
looks like German Meridian fans a spell bound to Audio Reference forever :-). It's bit like day dreaming you never wake up from.....
Actually I had the plan to go down to Munich on the dealer day, got some old connections to get cards, to avoid the usual crowd, but my factory trip planned to Geithain the day before was cancelled, due to MEG being full with afterwork (from ESC in Dsseldorf). I sort of panned a small round trip. Also MEG did not do the High End, which is good, but another point not to go there.
I also had a pretty poor experience at the Hamburg High End days some months ago, and could only shake my head at demos of Dynaudio, Burmester and even MEG had such a poor, open, and tiny room....rediculous.
Maybe next year a good chance to meet some people from the forum, unless somebody organizes a meeting not too far away around D, A or NL.....
Cheers, Andreas My Meridian history 565/519 (1996), 861 (2000), to G68ADV, to 561 today, tri-axial cardioid studio monitors, self build acoustic measures, ceiling sails, corner bass traps, trial Helmholtz resonator, REW, Apple (TV, Mac, IPAD), SBT, Calman

Robert, no worries, you didn't miss all that much. Was nice to be there as usual, top floors were pretty hot though. Would have been nice meeting you there, but we can do that another time.
Andreas, I think it's always up to the manufacturer/dealer/distributor to arrange for a good demo. There were some nice demos at High-End and as usual, the show is good to spot some new stuff. I usually try new stuff at home or at my dealer of choice then.
As far as a meeting goes, there's Cedia in september this year. Not sure yet if I'm going, but if there's something really interesting to see I'd be willing to take the trip. Maybe it's also a better idea to meet at the Bristol show, as that's not handled by any distributor and there are probably alot more Hitchhikers going there.
