Thought I would ask this question of those more knowledgeable about computers than I. I have a MC200, an ID40 card of my 808.3 and two computers all connected to the same router. One computer runs Windows XP and it runs Control:PC fine and that is how I have my MC200 running and loaded with music. The other computer is running 32 bit Windows 7. I can see the MC200 and the ID40 card on the Windows 7 computer when I go into the Control:Web application by typing in the IP address. When I try to load Control:PC from that application it installs but it will not connect to the system core. It says it is connecting endlessly but it refuses to actually connect. Anyone have ideas on what could be causing this? Could Windows Firewall be causing an issue? I have installed and uninstalled Control:PC a number of times with no effect. Any help would be much appreciated.

Please check your W7 Firewall (Control-panel-->Windows Firewall-->Allowed Programs.
In the list of allowed programs you should find "Sooloos ControlPC".
If not add it to the list.

Yes, it shows in Windows Firewall as an allowed program.

Check that your MC200 is up and running as "system core". If not ControlPC will endlessly try to connect.

As far as I know the MC200 is running as system core. There are no other Sooloos components to act as a system core. I have no Control:PC connection issue with my Windows XP computer, only the Windows 7 computer. The MC200 is playing music fine and connecting to my iPad as well.
