Try Right Click on
C:\Program Files\Meridian\Setup.exe
or
C:\Program Files (x86)\Meridian\Setup.exe
And choose Run as Admin

Have you used this unit and associated null modem cable (you have got one don't you?) with this before or is this all new?

It has to be a "Null Modem Cable". It would say that on the packaging. Chris

I use a USB to serial device, had to find/load the driver before it would work. Good luck. JimK

Hello Thanks for your fast replies. None worked, but, finally I was able to find a Meridian.exe program and the installation worked. The one in Meridian website did not... strange. Hi, Just to satisfy my curiosity, can you give me the details (URL) of where you got this software. Did you use the Meridian Software link at the bottom of the page? Regards, Carl

Thanks for replying,
That URL and the Meridian Software link both download the same version of setup.exe, so that's fine.
I know local firewalls can get in the way and prevent setup.exe connecting up and downloading the other files from M.
Regards, Carl
