Well guys,
Has anyone compared the two?
I was going to get rid of my PS3 and G96 for an Oppo 83SE. I'm in need of cash and I thought this might be a good trade off.

What are you wanting to play? The Oppo is not great for games...
The SE version of the Oppo gives you nothing versus the standard 83 since I presume you're feeding through your HD621. You can save yourself even more.

If you are in need of cash sell the G96 and keep the PS3 and hold off on the Oppo.
