We are not pointing the finger at you. We all have gone off course in different threads. It just takes one or more folks to yell out we are off course now and then, no biggy. If you want to discuss warranty and such start a new thread or contact your dealer.

Hi all,
I've moved various posts out from this thread to bring it back on-track.
See these new threads:
-- Do Meridian Audio's products have a lifetime warranty? -- 508.20 has started skipping tracks
As George says "No Biggy" we have all done it, however do try to stay OT; it took over an hour to sort out this one.
Regards, Carl

Irrespective of what the article says or what emanates from the Meridian PR office the fundamentals of the company are now far removed from what they were pre 2007. Reinet is a financial buyer and not a strategic one. Their objectives and obligations to their shareholders are simple: The must strive to achieve long term capital growth. The structure of the fund allows them to not only make private equity type investments but also investments in highly liquid marketable securities. Meridian will have to constantly justify its presence in the portfolio and compete against other investments. Financial buyers have no interest in running a hobbyist business. Their goal will be to rationalise the product offering, increase efficiency (margins) and scale the entire operation. None of this bodes well for members of this forum. I certainly do not have a crystal ball but it seems to me that well end-up with is a premium B&O type offering which may or may not be around in 10 years time depending on how well the business model is executed and whether or not Reinet management get bored by the distractions of what is, for all intents and purposes, a rinky-dink little company. This is not your fathers Oldsmobile (Meridian) anymore.
