Dont't suppose any of you guys out there know where I could lay my hands on a brand new boxed Black F80 ?

I have been offered quite a few second hand units and even demo's but ideally I'd like a new one. I know its a long shot asking but I guess its worth a try. I specifically want black but may consider another colour if its new and boxed. I am a perfectionist and especially with gloss black, I'm scared of buying second hand, as it looks class new, but as with all black products can look messy if not cared for properly.

Do you have one, a dealer near you have an unsold one, bla bla bla.....please get in touch ? Do you have a used one that is absolutely 100% perfect in every way, undistinguishable from new get in touch too.

I know the spanish importer still got some units (new unopened off course), but not black afaik (they told me white, grey and yellow was the last stock).

Many thanks for your reply mate. For some reason I still would prefer to buy from the UK if its at all possible, although I wont rule out your suggestion just as yet. I assume your spanish units hold the same warranty as in the UK and I guess they would have a different plug compared to here in the UK ?

It's the official importer, so warranty applies as far as I know... All the Meridian gear I had came with several power cables including our 'Schuko' plug and yours too.

Been on the Meridian website to get a list of all the dealers in the UK so I could email them all and see what they have got so to speak, but it asks you to put a postcode in and only gives you a handful of dealers close to you. It doesn't seem to give you an option to list them all ! Don't suppose anybody has a list of all the Meridian dealers in the UK ?

Ricky, you can put your town in. So a list of towns will get you there.

Chris, the town thing brings up the same as a postcode, a handful of dealers near that area, but it still wont bring up a list of all the dealers in the UK.........

Silly question regarding B stock. Is it just that they has been opened, or manuals missing, or could they be ex demo and used, refurbished etc etc etc ? what exactly are they ?

Very often they can be Brand new, but as the F80 is no longer a current model, they may just call it B stock.
You would have to confirm condition as a condition of sale with your seller.

Try a few towns and work round the country, you will soon see the overlaps.

Colchester, London, Bournemouth and on. That will give you some calls to make. you may not have to contact them all if you find one.

P.S. My F80 has not deteriorated in look at all. It doesnt seem to scratch like an overpolished car may do.

There are usually many of these on fleabay. Might be helpful to say what you want to pay.

Its a new F80 in black I would like but its not looking like its going to happen. eBay and other shops have loads of ex demo and grade B stuff but nothing new, so if nothing comes up soon I will probably go down the black leather M80 route......
