I haven't found any threads on this, perhaps because the question is elementary, but is anyone using the audio return channel-enabled HDMI output from their TV to route audio via the HD621? As this could save using an optical or pair of phono cables to take the audio signal to the processor (568.2 in my case), I would be interested to learn if anyone has gone this route.

I'd be very surprised if this worked. the HD621 is not HDMI1.4 thus there is not audio return channel.
