Hot off the presses:

Quote
New York, NY - Meridian hits the big screen once again on November 24th with product featured in the movie Love and Other Drugs by Fox 2000 Pictures and Regency Enterprises.

Love and other Drugs tells the story of Maggie (played by Anne Hathaway) an alluring free spirit who won't let anyone - or anything - tie her down. She meets her match in Jamie (played by Jake Gyllenhaal) whose relentless and nearly infallible charm serve him well with the ladies and in the cutthroat world of pharmaceutical sales. Maggie and Jamie's evolving relationship takes them both by surprise, as they find themselves under the influence of the ultimate drug: love. Based on Jamie Reidy's memoir "Hard Sell: The Evolution of a Viagra Salesman" (written by Twentieth Century Fox).

Meridian provided the production with a host of legacy product perfectly suited for the1996 time period, including the DSP5000 Digital Active Loudspeakers, 507 CD player, 562 Multimedia Controller, 595 Surround Controller, 508 DVD player, and 541 Surround Controller.

This feature film joins the growing list of titles where Meridian product has been seen on the big screen: Dinner for Schmucks, Get Him To The Greek, Date Night, Just Wright, Our Family Wedding, Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief, Cop Out, Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel, Old Dogs, What Happens In Vegas, Bride Wars and Jumper.

Meridian also featured in another movie I saw recently called The in-laws. They had a suite of DSP 8000s in sliver.
