Saw band ' Porcupine Tree ' live in Belfast recently ( excellent ) and fell into a bar afterwards which had a guitarist/vocalist and fiddler/pipe player letting rip . Musicians and punters had a great time ' Riverdancing ' the night away ! Live music is the real thing , enjoy ! ~M~

George, sorry to read that you are leaving us.
The HHG2M has been a godsend to all Meridian owners over the 10 years that you have cared for and nurtured it. You have done a stirling job to build up and maintain the site, at your own expense, making it what it is today, the reference point for Meridian aficionados from all corners of the Globe. Something 'The Mothership' could only dream of doing.
Having sown the seed that provided a service to all Meridianales, your endeavours enabled the site's expertise to flourish and eventually take up the mantle of the much loved, but now defunct, 'Meridian Technical Services'.
The site has been particularly well run since it's inception and always at the very highest level, unlike many out there. Your hard work, I'm sure, is greatly appreciated worldwide and all will be saddened to hear that you're finally to relinquish this, your baby. However, I'm sure that Duncs, with Joel & Carl on board, will follow on in your footsteps and continue the good work that you have done here. Work that must surly have benefitted us all in some way, members and lurkers alike.
So George, Thank you for an excellent website and good luck with your new hobby. I am sure, that given time, you will become as proficient at fiddlin' as you have been successful at bringing HHG2M to the internet.
Regards .... Holtz'. I concurr with Holtz's points and would like to add that, i also enjoyed your tinkering wether it was the 3db tweak, the Trifield problems, room graphs and measurements to name a few. Thanks for all the hard work, time and passion, you invested into this forum helping countless people. Im sure you will become highly proficient with the fiddle in no time. Thanks George and i look forward to more discussions from you in the future. Maz

George Many thanks for costing most of us a small fortune over the years. If this forum was not the place that it was, then I am sure that many of us would not have been sucked into all things Meridian and 'forced to upgrade' to keep up with the other forum members Personally knowing Duncan, I can vouch that it is in very safe hands.
Meridian owner since 1992 Prime & PSU, Focal Elear headphones, Roon (ROCK 8Gi5 NUC), Explorer 1 & 2, F80. 200/203, various Sonos (via Roon).

George
I'd like to offer sincere thanks for a well run forum, in which you've encouraged and maintained the highest standards of civility and community spirit over the years. As has been mentioned, this place is an invaluable resource for anyone with Meridian kit, and has acted as a major source of unpaid customer support for Meridian.
This has been my favourite web site since I joined in 2002, and although Mrs Meridian may take issue with the thousands in hours and cash which it's consumed, It's been a huge source of enjoyment!
I'm glad we'll be in safe hands with Viruskiller and Carl continuing their sterling work, and it's great to have another technical expert in Duncan leading up the site.
Thanks again George, you've done a great job.
Very best regards
George

My thanks too George as this site provided me with the necessary advice, knowledge and confidence to stray into second-hand Meridian system building.

Sincere thanks for all your hard work behind the scenes, as well as your helpful postings, the number of which is more than impressive. I hope I can look forward to further postings in future, as well as a download of your fiddle playing.
