With my new v6 it looks like that there are a comm problem.
The FR is the master and setup as "N.controler" via the powerswitch(config,setup..)
The 800 as "non controler" via Mconfig and the 861 as "controler".
clear in standby gives the correct dispays on 800/861 and DSP8k-non SL.

But when I go just change the display via the MSR or a preset
via the function and arrow keys-also the display from the 800 follows.
So when I adjust for example the heights the just displayed function of the 800 also get changed.
That is boring...

Sorry to ask such a stuopd question as I cant remember-

shouldnt the display change on the 861 WITHOUT the function key ?
And to change the 800 display you have to use the fuction key ?

Reset the system and powerdown/up reset, load Mconfig again no help.

So what is wrong here?

On a G68 you have to use the fnct key to change display. Assume same for 861 ?

Robert - It is the other way around.
The Display key change the 800 display.
Function+Display change 861 and DSP speaker displays.
And it is supposed to do that.

Sorry but that work at my equipment correct with the display button.
But HOW I go via the MSR to the 800 Menue?
Now its only possible to open the little flap direct at the 800 and press the "function" and "arrow" keys on the 800-then I get access to "bright" "contrast" and "phase".

Is that correct also ?

But the main question that booth display changing at the same time is a failure -that is correct?

Is there a solution for that?
For example when I adjust a parameter on the 861 and the display on 800 is just on bright or contrast then you get an unreadable display on the 800 as its getting to dark or to bright...

I don't think you should be allowed to "play" with your Meridian kit without supervision

It was the C5 lead..
When I turn it around,
means the end from the 861 is now on 800 and opposite it works..
Look at the scematic in WIKI, the "second" shielding is only on one side-
makes no sense-will look direct at the cable.
The displays works as they have to be.
