Ever since I got my HD621 I have been having problems with it periodically not working and having to be hard powered off and on (pressing the front button to cycle the sources doesn't seem to do anything.) This applies to music and movies. In reading previous posts it looked like an upgrade of the firmware would help this so I'm now at 1.08 but still having problems. Any Ideas? I do leave my gear on all the time but I wouldn't think that would be a problem. Sometimes it works for several days in a row and then stops and others it only works right after the power cycle and then the next day it quits. Very frustrating.
Thanks, John

Do you have "Last Valid" NOT being used on BOTH HD621 and Processor. You will get unpredicatable behavior if Last Valid is being used.
Does Video work but sound not work correctly when broken?

Prior to 1.08 I had my HD621 on a timer that triggered a regular reboot (during the night). Since 1.08 it hasn't needed a reboot. Stuart

I still have the occassional problem with a non-responsive HD621 (and it sometimes fails to automatically come out of standby), but far less frequently than prior to 1.08.

No, no LAST VALIDS that I can see. Nothing is making it to my projector or 861 until the reboot even thought the blue light on the HD621 indicates the correct source.

Was this fixed ? Am occasionally having what I think are similar problems - my HD621's only connected to 1 source - my Oppo - and it's only connected to the 861v6 using a cat6 cable between the MMHR input / output. How do I check the firmware of the HD621 & update it if necessary ? And 1 slight problem that will need to be fixed - removing a digital cable from the HD621 outputs pulled the connector out completely - new HD621 needed & a potential design rethink for Meridian perhaps - the (outer) connectors are only push-fitted into plastic....
