I have a Panasonic TH42PX70 TV, Oppo DV-980h DVD player, Digifusion FVRT200 PVR & bought an MSR+ recently. Obviously using it to control the 568 is straightforward, but as the dog has now eaten the remote to the PVR I now need it to control that as well (& ideally the other equipment). If anyone has some of this kit & knows of a 4 digit code I can use I would be grateful. I also don't understand how one knows which buttons on the MSR+ equate to those on the original remotes. Thanks Nick

You need to use the manual to try different codes and if that does not work you can teach it (also in manual). You can find the user manual here if you don't have one. http://www.Meridian-audio.info/show.php?compid=70

The manual has no predetermined codes for either digifusion or Oppo and I am uncertain if you put in the code for a source (1000 for a tv for example) and then try all the Panasonic TV codes, or just try each code on it's own. It is also unclear to me at least which buttons would control which function on either the Oppo or the PVR. The teaching process appears to require a remote which hasn't been eaten by a Newfoundland!

Forgot about the eaten remote.
As far as preprogram codes go, that's how you do it with all pre program remotes you try each code and cross you fingers one works. If not all you can do is tecah it from another remote.
You might check out LogiTech Harmony remotes. They are not that expensive and have a HUGE library. And can operate my "task". That is, watch a movies, listen to music etc. and will set up all devices for each task.
You can also use to teach your Meridian remote.

I have a Digifusion PVR and had problems using universal remotes (inc MSR+) with it. They (Universal Remotes) just dont deliver on the promise for me. Perhaps I have such Oddball kit. I have given up with them, untill they gauruntee to live up to the promise 100%. Me thinks they never will. Thx admin for the HH Birthday greeting, nice touch.......No M Parcels in the Mail for me though...:( Cheers Chris

No 18 in the Hall of fame I have simple tastes; I am content to settle for the best: GIK monster bass panels, rear wall. QNAP TVS 471i3. Roon into DSP5200SE via 210/ 218 zone... Explorer 2. Bluesound Pulse 2, Mini & Flex. 596v1, 518, Foxsat HD, Sony BDP, Pioneer 5090, 2 Chromecast's for LRB videos. MS200 to F80 for a Roon zone
