It will help your sale to tell people what sort of 596 you have (Scart, Component or Prograssive) and what flavour 568 it is: 568, 568.2, 568.2mm or hedgehog.
OK, I made up the hedgehog flavour.
Sooloos, Roon, G series (with LPS upgrade), 800 series (with LPS upgrade), HD621, AC200, Prime and PS, DSPs old and new.

Keep in mind there are TWO version of the Smiley FACE 24/96 DSP5500HC's
One is 7 segment display and the other is Matrix Display.
Only the center has two versions of smilely face.
The vertical ones if smilely should be Matrix displays.
I think it was this early 5500HC 7 segment display that moved the whole line to using the smiley face because it was the only way to put the diaply on. It would look weird having display going full length of speaker. So in the later generation Matrix display units they all ended up with smilely face.

568 is 1.

How old are the DSP 5500's?
Also I am not that familiar with the specifications. What does Square 24/96 refer to.
I heard some DSP 5500,s and they sounded quite impressive so I am giving them some consideration.

Also I am not that familiar with the specifications. What does Square 24/96 refer to. This means they have the straight sided rectangular display not the "smiley face" version that has a curved bottom edge. Regards, Carl

The mark 1s had a square face, this refers to the display that sits on the top of the speakers.
The mark 2 versions had a smiley face
refering to the display again which is curved on the bottom.
