Jon, thanks a million for this opportunity. I looked at VK's link, thanks as always VK, and wondered if they are laser etched as his link describes? But no matter how it's done, an Oppo button would be better than "cable" which is the one I use now. Ready to do it whenever.

Its very interesting that the engraver has named a different font to the one that M Customer Service says is used which i quoted in the thread VK referenced ????

Perhaps its worth checking with M direct if anyone can get through these days ?

Must have a look for my blanks wink

Meridian are correct, the font is Myriad.

Humnst 777 is *very* close, but unlike the font Meridian uses Humnst 777 has dots that are square instead of round.

check out the dot on subtitle on your remote unless im mistaken it looks like a square not a dot.the engraver blew up myriad and humnst on his screen fullsize to determine the difference and went for humnst.

but hey have what you want its no biggy.

I would say definitely not Myriad. An upper case M in Myriad has the two outside downstrokes splayed outward. The upper case Ms on my remote are straight up and down.
