There seems to be a relatively large number of 568's for sale on the used market (Audiogon)--some time ago, used 568's were rare! Anyone have an idea of what's up?

Wouldn't it be cheaper to upgrade the 568 to series 2 rather then sell it as most won't get their asking price?

there are six listed on audiogon. this is more than "average" but not so as i'd be quick to draw any conclusions about the curve. one of those is a dealer demo (undoubtedly they got a demo 568.2). one of those clearly states they upgraded with a new 568.2 (impatient!). so there are only really four "regular" units for sale which is well within the scope of normal numbers (3 or so). my two pennies. i watch audiogon pretty closely (waiting for the perfect 861 to pop!). doody.
