Hi,
I am using an Edge scaler so all my video sources a linked to the Edge (HDMI) and i have only one optical fiber between the Edge and the G68. So the G68 saw only one source for all my video sources. And with my sattelite box, the bass level is veryyyyyyyyy low.
Using MRC, it doesn't seem possible to manage different LFE/.1 levels for a same source. Did i miss something ?
With my Tag McLaren, i was able to define the .1 level for each decoding mode (DD/DTS/DSP...) and the remote give directly access to it.
Serge.

I think you may be confusing a few basic Meridian concepts.
MRC is all about room correction. It has nothing to do with sources. Its a profile of the measurement of the room, not each source. Although just to confuse matters, you can apply a different MRC profile to each logical source.
Meridian sources are logical representation for a number of different or similar physical connections and DSP settings. So whilst you have one physical input, your still have a number of different sources. So set each source up as needed, including satellite. Its just that the will map on to the same physical input - this is often known as phantom sources if you see it on other threads.
You may find that you need to create a user DSP mode and map a logical source on to that.
Meridian owner since 1992 Prime & PSU, Focal Elear headphones, Roon (ROCK 8Gi5 NUC), Explorer 1 & 2, F80. 200/203, various Sonos (via Roon).

Yes but... i don't see where i can set the .1 level for a specific source (phantom or not). The only panel where the .1 management is present is the Bass management tab, no ? Robet, i have seen nothing in wiki Serge.

Serge you are right. You can do phantom sources and the custom your preset. Means, phantom source xsky refers to custom preset "serge power bass". You have to copy a suitable preset and modify as you want. With that you can level the center for each source/preset.
There is also a general preset issue depending on the +10dB boost(or not). I men it was with DTS tracks-dont remember. The G68 should recognice in conjunction wtih M DVD player which datastream are the G68 are receiving. Then the proper "decoding" is enabled. Or you set this to a phantom source(like DTS CD ord DTS DVD) and assigne this to a preset.
As on ever preset you can assign a MRC file, you can do it also in this way.But for that you have to manually edit the MRC files(wiki).
Serge, tell exactly with which datatstreams you have to less bass.
