Hi, Im going to London i february and I am wondering if anyone can tell me where to buy a Meridian F80 at a good price?
I guess my wife will visit some shopping centers (Harrods etc) so maybe I can get a bargain on a F80 somewhere?

If you fly via Heathrow the F80+i80 is sold in Terminal 5 (and possibly other terminals) at Dixons. I bought the F80+i80 in December at a VAT free price of �1,303 reduced from �1,499. You need to make sure it is physically in stock before you get there (as they cannot otherwise complete the transaction) by calling Dixons on +44 20 8897 5821. If you are travelling through another terminal call this number and ask them how to make complete the transaction elsewhere.

We will fly in/out via Gatwick, but I can call Dixons and ask if they have a store at Gatwick, thank you for helping me!

I don't know about F80 price but my experience of Dixons duty free shops is that even with duty free their prices are not competitive with high street prices. It's not unusual for Dixons duty free to be more expensive than their high street own brand Curry's (formerly Dixons shops) shops due to high street discounting.
May be different with f80 where it is not so widely available so discounted prices may be more scarce. But worth trying likes of Harrods especially if their sale is still on.
Meridian website has list of f80 stockists so you can see in advance who has what. Worth mentioning that many hifi shops don't open on Sunday and Mondays.

They are available at Harrods for �1,000. Think today they will be another 10% off (you may need to open a store card (you won't need to fill in the details)).

I'm not sure but the ones from Harrods might be ex-display, if that is an issue, and they may not be sold with an i80 included in the price. Good idea to check first...

I'm not sure but the ones from Harrods might be ex-display They must be. I'm pretty sure �1000 is below the regular dealer cost.
