....... suitably equipped processors, that can use these SPDIF outputs?

Anyone know of any other processors that can take multiple SPDIF inputs for multichannel?

Thanks

Lexicon does. Not sure if their latest processors do though.

Lexicon MC-1 can take 3x SPDIF in a direct to DACs setup. Denon had a couple of different processors/receivers that can take in 4x SPDIF.

Shawn,

Thanks for that, the MC-1 would have no bass management it would seem.
Not sure the Denon's would have the quality, but will look at the specs of various models and see if I can see which model it is and if bass management is possible.

Thanks
Martin

PS IN the past I have had two MC-1 by pass kits from you which I used and had excellent results cool

Thanks George wink

On a side issue, does the facility within the software for this board allow a "Thank You" tab to be added to posts?

Martin,

"Thanks for that, the MC-1 would have no bass management it would seem."

Not in the unit itself. However if you mod something like the BD83 you can use its bass management/time alignment on the SPDIF outputs.

I believe the Denons did allow processing on its 4x input. One of the models that could do this was the AVC-A1SE for example.

Glad you enjoyed the bypass kits.
