I searched the forum and the manual for hours.

Please, can anybody help with this G91A problem:

I'm trying to connect my G91A to a headphone amp. So what I need is a 2-channel analogue setup with fixed output level.

The manual says that the analogue outs could either be variable or fixed. But where can I configure the analogue outputs to be fixed?

Thanks so much!

Rupert

The only option I see in MConfig under Settings Tab called Volume Select and a Choice of "None". But I'm not sure that does it. It would make sense to offer fixed analog outputs but it's certainly not obvious.

Thanks, George.

No that didn't work. Analog volume is still controlled by the volume knob. (While my pair of 3100s correctly isn't volume controlled any more.)

But I found out that the analog output is fixed when I choose "Analog MCh" instead of "Analog 2Ch" in the application setting via OSD. I further configured main large analog as only speakers. So basically a multichannel analog setup with only two speakers configured.

That works fine for stereo material. Even DSP is "disabled", just like in the "Analog 2Ch" application setting.

But for DVDA I only get the main left and right channel to my headphones. It isn't downsampled to stereo.

Listen to DVDAs with headphones would be cool.

It seems that I'm trying to use my G91a in a way not intended by its designers ;-)
