Meridian Unplugged - Powered by MrTechGuy.co.uk Forums Restaurant at the End of Universe Hitchhikers - Meridian Equipment FS: DSP5000

Hi

These are 18bit and were an demo pair bought from a Meridian dealer in St Leonards four years ago. The staff told me that they were practically unused - and new stock had arrived.

I haven't had much use of them either - they were stored in a spare room for three years as my wife described them as coffins, and SWMBO has now changed the living room again so they are now sadly surplus to her requirements. They are in very good condition - one half of one letter on the right hand speaker has came off when I brought them out of the spare room for a few months of use ; apart from that they are pretty much as they were - I'll email photos to anyone interested.

I had used them as part of a four way DSP5000/651 system when the Boss allowed. The other pair has been sold to a friend and now the time has come to part with these.

Is anyone interested in them? There is a pair going on eBay (mine are black ash) currently for what I think is a quite a high price...

Oh, includes cables and manual...I don't have the original boxes but can deliver within say 100mls of Manchester... somebody should set up a Meridian speaker box rental company!
