I've given up on VOX (It does work in my 2009 mac mini) and I'm running MQA with Audirvana now.

While I was able to get the 818v3 to play MQA from Vox via USB, I was unable to get it to work with the Explorer 2. Audirvana did the trick.

Just got the Explorer 2 to play MQA via the SB Touch.
The key for me was to use a USB hub!
Main: Marantz Cinema 50, Meridian 271, DSP7200.2, DSP5200HC, DSP5000 rears, Meridian 210.
PC/Headphones: Mytek Liberty II, Sansui CA-F1, Sansui B-2301, Sennheiser HD800, Kef R3

Nice .. with external power for the hub?
Do you know if this works with Roon?

It worked with and without power to the hub.
Don't know about Roon, I played from LMS.

I was wondering if the last link in the chain (Explorer 2) worked as well.
