Hi all,
I updated and stored my settings today to my 568.2mm using the legacy programme, to add a subwoofer and enter speaker distances.I made no preset changes.
Playing a BD I now have no surround sound from the DSP 33s or any subwoofer output.I have checked all the settings on my laptop and they are correct, I have the BD player outputting PCM,I have selected the 7.1 soundtrack on the BD and the 568 display reads "MHR Mov6 96K."
I am somewhat flummoxed-I assume I don't have to retype via the remote?
Any suggestins welcome.

Hi,
Try reverting to your original config to see if that fixes the problem.
Also try re-type then reload 2nd config.
Also check for loose / damaged cables, it's happend before.

Also worth a reboot after changes (at the power switch).

Thanks.
Haven't tried a reboot yet but have found that rears and sub are working on TV logic.

TV Logic, is a Trifield type setting so this means your DD and DTS are not working as they should. It does confirm all your wires are connected though, which is good. Thoughts, Chris
No 18 in the Hall of fame I have simple tastes; I am content to settle for the best: GIK monster bass panels, rear wall. QNAP TVS 471i3. Roon into DSP5200SE via 210/ 218 zone... Explorer 2. Bluesound Pulse 2, Mini & Flex. 596v1, 518, Foxsat HD, Sony BDP, Pioneer 5090, 2 Chromecast's for LRB videos. MS200 to F80 for a Roon zone

Did you create a new type or just modify the original? If you created a new type you might not have the right one selected/active. Look and see which type you have selected. Also did you create a new config or use the existing config file? If you have two cinema presets you need to delete one that was used with the old firmware. I assume you are using 2.5beta? Although I don't think the extra preset would stop the sub from playing.

Thanks one and all.
I've now partly or wholly resolved the problem.Forgot that I had changed my BD player audio settings to output PCM rather than "auto." Having restored to auto, I now have surround and LFE BUT the 568 display (on LOTR) is now "DTS 5.1 48k" whereas, when set to output PCM, the display read "PCM 96K."
It seems I'm now not getting the full fat HD Master Audio but at least I have a full 6 channels. Any thoughts?

Sounds to me you made it worse. You probably had a cabling problem (VERY common with HD621). By changing the player your now just transmitting lossy DTS over 2 channels and the 568 is decoding that to 5.1 which is why all channels work. Put it back to PCM and start playing with the Cables between HD621 and the 568. Your main front channels are correct. It's the Center/Surrounds that appear to be hooked up wrong.

Thanks Fidler.
I'm using a 513 patch to connect the HD621 to the 568 via Smartlink.
Cables from HD621 are routed:
1/2 to L/R 3/4 to C/SUB 7/8 to SURR
AFAIK 5/6 is for sides.
Can't see that the cabling is wrong.

A further observation.
Just noticed in my settings file under cinema that there is a box "2+2+2." The only options are "5.1" or "off." I have mine set to "5.1" but I have no idea what 2+2+2 means.
Can anyone enlighten me?
