All I can suggest is to simplify your setup for testing purposes, have your core and the MS200 connected directly to an unmanaged switch, nothing else connected.....does it work?

Maybe try checking what version of firmware is loaded. It has been a while since an update but maybe it’s an old version and a reflash might help

Hi,

Sorry if it's a bit cheeky but:

1. Is there a red light visible from the MS200 output?
2. Do you have the correct 3.5mm adapter on the optical cable?
3. Does the analogue output work OK? (use a 3.5mm jack to two phono lead into an analogue input on the 861 or some other amp*)

(*I'm not sure how the MS200 analogue output works with a pair of headphones, otherwise I'd suggest trying that)

What is the latest firmware version for the MS200, as this item is no longer evident in the "Firmware Release Notes".
Mine works fine. It is a Roon (ex Sooloos) zone running over Develo with analogue out to Red Rose Spirit Amp to Sonus Faber Toys.
Maybe a stupid question, but where can latest MS200 firmware status be found?

The firmware noted above matches mine so let's assume is latest.

IIRC you can try and plug some headphones into the analogue output. That will rule out any other system config.

Best to check the analog output is set to variable rather than fixed.

Just a thought, I have had this issue with my MS200 that uses a power line adapter. The fix, is to unplug and re plug one of the power lines. Not sure if this is relevant without re reading it all here.

No 18 in the Hall of fame smile I have simple tastes; I am content to settle for the best:
GIK monster bass panels, rear wall. QNAP TVS 471i3. Roon into DSP5200SE via 218 zone... Explorer 2. Bluesound Pulse 2, Mini & Flex. 596v1, 518, Foxsat HD, Sony BDP, Pioneer 5090, 2 Chromecast's for LRB videos. F80

I too use this solution for one of my end points on a fairly regular basis (every two weeks or so).

Wonder if there is some kind of cache in the power-line adaptor that fills up and needs to be reset?
