If it's permitted to ask, I'd be interested to hear recommendations for other, preferably UK-based, forums interested in hi-fi.

Of course this one is the prime source for Meridian expertise grin but sometimes other views / subjects are interesting.

There are some very busy sites such as AV-forums and some well-respected international ones like Stereophile, but where do fellow Meridian-o-philes go to read / research?

I mention UK-centric not to be chauvinistic, just to acknowledge the UK's preferred characteristic sound is not necessarily the same as that preferred elsewhere. We're all keen on Meridian's sound in any case.

Where do readers of HFNRR hang out would be another way of putting the question?

+1 for pfm.

I think Hifi Wigwam is also a good enthusiasts' site, most often referred to as the 'Wam, although I've not looked in for a long while. Don't know if they still do it, but they used to run a bake off every year at Scalford Hall where enthusiasts would set up their systems in the hotel rooms in the same manner as a commercial hifi show, but it was just for the fun of it.

Cheers

George

Thanks Guys,

I think I remember pinkfishmedia from when I was looking for a Meridian legacy repairer which led to this place!

So list so far:
https://www.pinkfishmedia.net/forum/
https://www.hifiwigwam.com/

I also had good reports for:
https://hydrogenaud.io/ for the more digital tech/PC stuff.

And George is right - the Wam show still running with a YouTube report on 2019 Kegworth https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mV4lzvwVKJQ

I shall watch and read later smile
