I’ve checked the Dsub to RJ45. Pinout is connected as mentioned in the other post.

With the remote in Meridian program I can press CD button, green led on the back lights up. Pressing Off, led gets dimmed. When I go to Command tab I can se what commands that have been transmitted (but without responses, should it be?). When I send ID, I get no response?

Hmm I may be found the problem. According to SpeakerLink used as Digital Out (XLR or SPDIF) plus COMMS and RS232 the SpeakerLink Output Rx pin is number 6. In the previous post I referred to “Data into speaker = Pin 6”. And the RS232 is used with the “SpeakerLink Input”.

If you connect SpeakerLink to SpeakerLink Tx/Rx have to be swapped. Transmit to Receive and vice versa. These two guides (One for input and their other one for output) both claim pin 6 is Received. It’s not possible! Have to redo my cable tomorrow.

I’ll be back.

Haven't 3200s always been difficult to "wake up"?

I dont know why it start to respond now. It responded earlier to in a way out turn it on and put it to standby. But it didn’t respond in the command prompt.

I just redid everything by the book.

1) Turned of power
2) Set it to (L)
3) Powered it up (at least 30s after powered down)
4) Connected RS232 cable
