Thanks - I had previously discovered that the toe in seems to increase centre stage focus at the cost of the width of the sound stage. I’ll try this experiment again and let you know what I find...

Cunning! I think I’ll stick with the GAIA’s (simply because I can), but great thinking!

I’ll assume that’s 12’ away from the rear wall?! How does it sound? I’ll go away and calculate what the relative distances would be in my room by way of comparison. Thanks :-)

Edited the above post.
Actually the outside rear corner is 12 inches from the front wall. I have corrected this above. Also clarified that the front wall is 19 feet wide.

Cardas website has a speaker placement formula for different rooms and using different walls. My 17'x27x7 has the speakers 3' off the 17'(front)wall then 5'(off left side)to center to 9' to slave with 3' off the long wall, seat is 8-9' from face of speakers. this right speaker can be moved a couple inches to great effect regarding bass impact. I use toe in but not an aggressive amount. I also found the se kit created a larger soundstage but I haven't tweaked the speakers for it more than a couple degrees of toe in. 2010 8k se with 218 and roon nucleus.

Good call! I moved the speakers to toe them to roughly the same angle as they were before I started moving everything around and everything seems much better. Thanks for the reminder :-)
