Hi Hitch Hikers,

Probably an easy question for most of you.

I have a simple set up in our NYC apartment consisting of AC200, MC200 and DSP420 in our living room.

How do I stream wireless from the MC200 in the living room to a M80 in the bedroom? What equipment do I need to purchase?

Thank you in advance for your thoughtful answers.

Hi,

Not wireless, but you could use a powerline adapter, to get LAN into the room, but you'd have to get something like a MS200 to feed your M80.

For a wireless option you could try sending audio to a Bluetooth transmitter and install a BT receiver next to the M80. Never tried it so I'm not sure of the quality of that option.

What are ypur usage scenarios? Will both areas be playing the same thing or different tracks? If the same, Dynaudio has a pretty nifty wireless tranmitter/receiver combo that does a nice job with wireless audio along with minimal latency and excellent audio quality.

Hi Bruce,

Thanks for the recommendation. Only have to play in one zone, the living room system would be low volume or off as it is a small apartment. I am not overly concerned in this case with latency or highest fidelity as it is a modest set up.

I've used a wireless network bridge (Netgear Ex-2700) for a couple of years, hooked up to an MS200 in one of my rooms. I know these things can be so-so in terms of reliability but I have had 0 issues for the 2 years I've used this.

Hello fellow Hitch Hikers,

I found a suitable solution. Purchased a Bluetooth Transmitter and Receiver set from Amazon $64 USD.

It paired perfectly, there was an issue coming from the digital out of the MC200 so I connected the transmitter to the AC200 headphone jack (analog, fixed level) and used optical from the receiver to the M80. Not perfect sound but perfect for the application...

Thank you for all your suggestions.
