Hi,

I'm having an issue with Sooloos on my main system. I can select the correct input channel for Sooloos (currently configured as AUX) on my G68 but as soon as I start to play any music my G68 switches to another input channel (normally VCR1).

In terms of comms my G98DH and centre speaker (master) are connected to the two DIN comms terminals on my G68. My HD621 is connected via BNC to the G68. The only way I could think of connecting the MS600 in to my system from a comms perspective was to daisy chain from the spare comms port on the G98DH.

If I unplug the comms cable from the G98DH the problem goes away but it obviously no longer switches off when I turn off the rest of my system (which does work when connected to the G98DH).

Apologies in advance if there is a glaring error here but does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

Hi,

The comms problem is possibly related to your speaker problem.

Other comms option - G68 comms > G98 comms _ G98 BNC comms > HD621 BNC comms > HD621 comms > MS600 comms.

For BNC comms you can use an old cheap yellow video lead (phono-phono) and a couple of BNC to phono (female) adapters.

Hi

Interestingly when I use the Meridian config, it disconnects comms from either the MS600 or the HD61.

Sometime ago this was posted:

Hope you get it sorted!

OK, my mistake then _ although I thought I’m sure I ran that option with my HD621 and MS600 when I had a G68. I’ve now got a G65, so MS600 comms is via SL

Brian,

It may not be your mistake. I have only provided observations.

I’ll give Brian’s suggestion a whirl. Can’t think of any other options unless you can get some type of splitter cable for master comms that would go from the G68 to both the MS600 and G98?
