Hi,

I recently purchased a Trinnov Altitude32 (Al32-816) that I'm using with Meridian speakers and a Meridian 271.

I was wondering whether anyone can explain how to recreate a Trifield preset -- or a reasonable approximation -- on the Trinnov?

Thanks so much!

Best,
Adam

Turn on the upmixer with a stereo source and try them out.

More specifically go to presets and choose a preset and name it Trifield. Then go to processor and alter the outputs to your liking then save the preset. when you use a source, select the Trifield preset and then turn on the upmixer.

To get closest to Trifield, I would create a preset including just the front R, L and C speakers and the two rear surrounds. Do the calibration and save the preset as Trifield. You can then do some fine tuning.

Try the various upmixers and pick one you like the best (I prefer Auro-3D for music). Once you have decided, you could define a music source which defaults to that preset and upmixer.

You can also play around with relative gains of the rears vs the front three and target curve for your 'Trifield' preset.

The permutations are endless.

Main system - Sources (Kodi-HTPC, Vero 4k, FireTV, Sat) into Trinnov Altitude 32 (8-16) (+Roon), Trinnov Amplitude 8 amp & Vivid Audio (Giya G3, V1.5) and REL Stentor III speakers. Others: F80 + Raspberry Pi and other Pi systems.
