Hey Folks,

I wall mounted my DSP3100’s but the power cable is not standard. Is this a ‘mickey mouse’ connector on the back? I can’t imagine why they wouldn’t use a standard connection!

I’d really like to replace the power cable with something longer for a neater install. Checked Duncan’s page but couldn’t find the info. Looking for something around 12’.

TIA

In the UK I use basic mains cable extenders for my active speakers. Nothing fancy, works a treat.

Hi Sam

That cloverleaf design is physically smaller (on the "internal" side) than the standard type (it was used on the F80 for that reason) but you can buy longer versions of the same. I bought a 16' replacement cable from a mainstream electrical appliance seller, so it shouldn't be hard to track down a suitable length.

Cheers

George

Thanks! I’ll try the Mickey Mouse type. They look correct in the photos.

The ‘Mickey Mouse’ connector is an IEC C5; do a search for C5 cables on Amazon or eBay and you should find something suitable.
